May Fun

We are back from a week on the Gulf Coast!

It was seven mornings of waking up to this gorgeous view from our beach house balcony:

And seven days of warm sun, white sand, and beautiful water.

We shared the beach house with our dear family friends - more fun for everyone!

Also, can you believe that this is Alabama? Who knew? Not this California girl!

The day before we drove down to the beach, I finished my 100th Pure Barre class! The PB franchise is so amazing, and they make a big deal about this milestone. I was given a pair of the coveted 100 Club socks upon entering...

After class, I was able to sign the 100 Club barre :)

Everything was so personal and thoughtful; I seriously can't say enough say enough good things about Pure Barre!

The day after we returned from the beach was Mother's Day!

My boys totally spoiled me with an ah-mazing day, including lunch at our favorite steakhouse, sweet cards and gifts, flowers selected by Parker, a chance to slip out for a Pure Barre class, and a family walk to the downtown taco shop for dinner.

Plus, they both donned bow ties and my favorite color, pink!

I'm one lucky Mama!

  1. I love their matching bath suits, too cute! Congrats on 100 classes. A friend of mine used to have a barre studio, I always been to go take a class but never did before she closed it. I love the leggings by the way. Happy belated Mother's day!

  4. Oh girl, the gulf is stunning! We go to Panama City Beach or Destin every summer for our beach trip and it never gets old. You can't beat that white sand and clear emerald water! I'm glad you guys had a great time!

    1. It was my first time on the Gulf Coast!! I totally want to see other parts of it, though it will be hard to beat an empty private beach with a house directly on it! (We did pay the price of being at least 20 minutes from a good grocery store or restaurant, though.)
