Valentine's | 2019

I've always loved Valentine's Day - simply put, it's all my favorite things rolled into one! Pink, hearts, chocolates, flowers... Husby killed it this year with the ones photographed above that he snuck into the house while I was sleeping so I got to wake up to them! Valentine's Day is just the best. Being a teacher on Valentine's Day was always so much fun, and being a Mom is even better!

Just like last year, I saved up all the valentines that Parker received in the mail and put them out with some small gifts at a festive breakfast table Valentine's morning.

Breakfast was homemade waffles with whipped cream and heart sprinkles!

Thursdays are my library volunteer day at P's school (the kindergarteners were allowed to wear valentine themed shirts and jeans instead of their uniforms).

Whole Foods always has the best deal on roses for Valentine's Day (two dozen for $20) so I made little bundles and popped them into mason jars for Parker to give to the office staff and his teacher (it worked perfectly since I was on campus to help him pass them out).

I fit in a Pure Barre class, with Valentine themed sticky socks, obvi.

Parker brought home a Love Bug he made at school...

And still had valentines from the morning to open...

Plus the loot from his classroom exchange. He was such a happy little guy digging into everything!

Parker requested fondue for our special dinner. I loosely used this recipe based on the Alpine Cheese Fondue from The Melting Pot (followed by chocolate fondue, of course). We use this electric fondue pot, on sale HERE!

Hoping your Valentine's Day was just as sweet!
