Life Lately | Summer Edition

We tried a little something new this summer, and had Make It Mondays, Take A Trip Tuesdays, Water Fun Wednesdays, Thoughtful Thursdays, and Foodie Fridays 😊 Even if it was something super simple and quick like making slime on a Monday or picking flowers to gift on a Thursday, Parker had a ball looking forward to each thing.

One of our Tuesday Trips took us to the Huntsville Museum of Art, where I'm a member of the Women's Guild.

It was Parker's first trip there, and he loved these giant, bright, colorful wheels in the kids section.

On another Tuesday, we hit up Zook's Orchard.

Picking blueberries was on our Summer Bucket list so this was a twofer for us.

The Downtown Open was a perfect Tuesday Trip.

Parker lives for putt putt!

One of our Thoughtful Thursday actions was leaving kind notes in books at the library - this was one of my favorites.

And of course, we have had lots of water fun (on Wednesdays and lots of other days, too).

Meals at the pool are a summer family favorite!

As are meals at Concerts in the Park!

We also love meeting Dada for lunches during the workweek.

If you're local, I highly recommend the newly opened Good Company Cafe (conveniently located near Max's work!).

Parker and I spent a rainy morning watching Incredibles 2. $5 matinee tickets for the win!

We kept up with piano lessons...

Made lots of Costco trips...

Had fun with sparklers...

The boys did some car work...

And Mama consumed lots of coffee. Fridays are for Ventis.

Happy summer, y'all!
